Emily Hindle

Emily is of Northern Irish and Yorkshire heritage. She was brought up in Belfast and Hampshire.

She trained at E15 Acting School on the Acting & Contemporary Theatre course, graduating in 2019.

Recent work: Emily played Irish traveller Kezia Gallagher in CASUALTY for the BBC.

Theatre work includes: GUNPOWDER PLOT with Layered Reality at The Tower of London; BITTER at The New Diorama; TOOTHACHE (written and performed by Emily) The Space Theatre; HOARDING at Leicester Curve / Lowry; Five-Eight at the Bernie Grant Arts Centre.

Productions while training include, the DETPFORD WIVES (musical); SUMMERFOLK, REASONS TO BE PRETTY and THEY.

Skills:
Emily has excellent physical theatre and devising skills.

Singing:
Emily has a strong versatile voice. She can sing a variety of styles from jazz, country, folk, pop and classical.

Musical instruments: She is highly skilled on the drums and also plays guitar, piano and the ukulele.

Other performance skills include:
Stage fighting, puppetry, spoken word.

Sporting skills include: Sailing, archery and swimming.

Writing: Emily has written professionally for stage and screen. She is currently working alongside The Mercury Theatre Colchester, and her debut play Toothache will be performed in 2023.

Emily has bases in Belfast, Yorkshire, Hampshire and Sydney.
