Exciting new comer Nina Bowers has recently graduated from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She trained on the CDT course (collaborative and devised theatre - BA 3 years) which enjoys a creative partnership with the award winning Complicite.
Nina is currently in Twilight: Los Angeles, 1992 at The Gate Theatre written by Anna Deavere Smith and directed by Ola Ince. For this ground-breaking piece of verbatim theatre Nina is playing over 20 characters.
She recently toured with the Complicite in TOMORROW I'LL BE TWENTY, directed by Catherine Alexander. She also filmed a commercial for Centrepoint.
Roles while training include Lady Sarah in THE EMPRESS directed by Pooja Ghai; MAKTUB directed by Marcello Magni (Complicite); Lady Macbeth in MACBETH directed by Ng Choon Ping; Lucy in THE RIVALS directed by Dominic Rouse; Peaseblossom in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM directed by Julie Saunders and Dunyasha in THE CHERRY ORCHARD directed by Dominic Rouse.
Nina is currently developing a one woman show entitled NINA TALKS ABOUT HER VALUES which was part of the Big Bang Sprint 2017 at Camden People’s Theatre.
She has excellent movement skills having studied ballet at ODCS (Ottawa Dance Centre Schools in Canada) She is also trained in Contemporary Dance and Tap.
Nina was born in London and brought up in Canada. She holds both UK and Canadian citizenship.
She is based in London.
