Exciting newcomer Naomi Ackie trained at the prestigious Royal Central School of Speech & Drama.

She is currently filming the feature YARDIE, directed by Idris Elba. She made her feature film debut in the acclaimed 19th Century period drama LADY MACBETH which received stunning reviews at Toronto, San Sebastian, London and Sundance film festivals - "impressive first-timer Naomi Ackie" - Screen Daily.

Her TV credits include: DAMILOLA, OUR LOVED BOY, a feature length drama telling the story of Damilola Taylor for the BBC; (winner Best Single Drama at BAFTA TV Awards 2017); THE FIVE, an exciting ten part series for SKY Written by Harlan Coben (Tell No One), playing Gemma and directed by Mark Tonderai (House At The End Of The Street, Hush) and DOCTOR WHO.

Her Theatre Credits include: PLUNDER, The Young Vic. SOLACE OF THE ROAD, Derby Theatre. WALKING THE TIGHTROPE, Offstage Theatre / Theatre Uncut. BILLY THE GIRL, SOHO Theatre. THE NUTCRACKER, The Unicorn Theatre. THE SNOW QUEEN, Trestle Theatre Company.

Her short film credits include ALMOST FAMOUS produced by Film London, which was selected for 2015 London Short Film Festival and is nominated for Best Fiction Film and the Roger Deakins Award at The Plymouth Film Festival 2016.

Naomi is a strong singer and has an excellent ear for accents.
