International French actor Karim Ait M’Hand trained at the Merignac Conservatory in France. He works consistently in Spain, France and Morocco.
Later this year Karim will film LOVE OF THE MEN opposite Hafsia Herzi (Bertrand Bonelli’s HOUSE OF TOLERANCE), directed by Mehdi Ben Attia.
Karim recently filmed the comedy feature INCIDENCIAS (INCIDENTS) directed by Spanish directors José Corbacho and Juan Cruz, alongside some of Pedro Almódovar's favourite actors, including Lola Dueñas, Rossy De Palma, Roberto Álamo, and Carlos Areces.
Other feature films include, LA CRÈME DE LA CREME, directed by award-winning French director Kim Chapiron, CHEBA LOUISA, directed by Françoise Charpiat, HOMELAND, directed by Mohamed Hamidi and SALVATION ARMY, written and directed by Abdellah Taïa.
His television credits include the Spanish period drama series EL TIEMPO ENTRE COSTURAS (THE SEAMSTRESS) directed by Iñaki Mercero, the Spanish historical TV movie TOLEDO, directed by Juanma R Pachón, the Spanish TV mini series SAVING SARA, directed by Manuel Ríos San Martín, television movie RACHID, directed by Daniel Cebrián, and THE ULYSSES SYNDROME, directed by Álvaro Fernández Armero.
Karim is a professional singer (Baritone) and has appeared in several operas, notably at Paris’s Garnier Opera House in Handel's, GIULIO CESARE, directed by the prestigious French theatre and opera director Laurent Pelly, and at The Opéra Bastille in Mozart's DON GIOVANNI, directed by Austrian auteur Michael Haneke (twice winner of the Cannes film festival's Palme D’or for THE WHITE RIBBON in 2009 and AMOUR in 2012).
Karim speaks fluent French, Moroccan, Spanish. He also speaks Algerian, Arabic and Brazilian Portuguese.
He is a skilled horse rider and trained in Judo and Kung Fu.
